Probably our most busy day, we went to two companies and the Oslo Opera house. Our first visit was to Sensio, a company focusing on making technology for elderly care. We received a presentation focused on the company’s business side, which was a first for us. Additionally, Sensio asked us to give a presentation as well about the status of elderly care in the Netherlands, as well as which companies are working on technology in this sector.

After Sensio, we immediately set off to Oivi, located around 30 minutes away from Sensio. Oivi focusses on the prevention of loss of vision for patients with diabetes. They provide doctors with the technology to easily detect issues within the eye for a very low cost.
We were provided with an interesting presentation on their position on the market, as well as a technical demo of the machine all the way from India.
Lastly, we went to the Oslo opera house to receive a tour of the building. We got some very interesting insights, as they were currently doing maintenance work to prepare for the next season. We were shown the backstage areas of all three stages, as well as the workshops, where all props for the shows were made. Sadly, we are not allowed to share any pictures of this due to some props belonging to shows that have not aired yet. However, this did not stop us from making two nice group pictures, one on the main stage and one outside.

Lastly, since it is our last day in Oslo, we had a potluck dinner. Every hostel room made some nice snacks (dumplings, nachos, and pizza rolls) for dinner, and people went by all rooms to enjoy them.
We are sad to leave Oslo, but excited to see what Bergen has to offer!
