Day 7 – 15/07/2022: Alumni Outing

Jul 16, 2022 | Breath of Technology

And that concludes day 7 and the first week of our trip spent in Stockholm!

We had a relaxed morning with free time planned. Where some of us spent the morning catching up on sleep or going on a run, others went on a cultural outing to the ABBA museum.

The afternoon was filled with an exciting visit to Skansen, the world’s oldest open-air museum. Here we enjoyed the sight of many different animals and traditional townhouses.

Also, traditional jobs like glass blowing, furniture making and leather making were also explained and in the first case displayed by staff members, who were dressed accordingly to the time period.

From Skansen, we took one of the ferries to the other island.

We were joined by three alumni: Benedetta, Stijn and Katharina. They directed us to a delicious vegan buffet restaurant for dinner. Here we stuffed ourselves so much that there was hardly any room left for the ice cream on the way back πŸ™‚

Finally, we ended the night with a drink and a great view of the city we have all got to know a little and love over the past seven days.

We have had a great time in Stockholm and are ready to begin the next part of our adventure: Oslo!
